CF « Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC » provided for 30 children (children of migrant workers, youth with disabilities and children without parental care), an opportunity to relax beautifully and communicate with peers, having done a step by step plan of the camp.
The camp was organized in the village Zarichchya, Nadvirna region on the basis of retreat center of Missionary Society of St. Andrew the Apostle.
Every day was special, had its name: Visiting flora and fauna, "These funny animals", "Tourist Day", "Neptune Day", "Visiting Tales", "Day of the Flower" and their adventures and special events, unusual and favourite sports games and competitions, camp extraordinary atmosphere of friendship, respect and joy, interesting lessons and discussions in a spirit of Christian values and attitudes to life with optimism and love of neighbour.
In preparation for presenting certain camp tasks, children develop the ability to work in groups. Teachers tried to fill it with various activities: developing games for children, workshops (on beads, on decoupage, weaving, embroidery and art), trips and, of course, walking on air. Entertainment as a key element of rest in the program not only helps to explain the strange things to the child, but also reveal her creative potential. At the end of the camp participants shared the positive moments and expressed new ideas and suggestions of this kind of recreation.
Ability to stay in camp for youth is a big step in the growth of love, openness, understanding, generosity that promote community. Program of the camp was built so that young people started to really worry about each other, be more independent, to promote its growth.

Summer - vacations, holiday, new friends and the positive movements! This is something that children tend to get during the summer holidays.
While living together, spending time together, leisure and recreation, children had the opportunity to relax psychologically, fulfill new impressions. During the camp children expressed themselves in different activities: dancing, singing songs that wrote themselves, composed poems, drew. During staying in the camp kids used to take an ordinary cardboard and paper as material for creative fantasies. Our main task - to reveal the makings of creative children.
Summarizing the above mentioned, we note that the camp was an opportunity to obtain both positive, negative experience which will increase knowledge and capacity of the Centre. Conducting this kind of recreational activities will facilitate the comprehensive development and improvement of physical and psychological health and social adaptation of youth with mental disabilities.
