Every year charities of CF «Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC» aimed at supporting those population groups which, because of life circumstances can not alone cope with their problems and meet their needs. Through its activities, the organization now has great credibility among the population and area, because making a variety of educational, social and rehabilitation programs can provide social, financial assistance for people in crisis. Given the current social problems, Caritas has a significant impact on public opinion and attitudes of society and the younger generation to our present problems.

On the 6 of July 2010 the Press Club was organized during which the executive director of CF «Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC»  Kozakevych Natalia and coordinators of different projects told the public of our city and region on the direction of the Caritas and the achievements of the past year, presented the activities of this year's projects and programs that are realized today by Caritas projects.

More information was highlighted about the launch of a new direction - the creation of Information - Advice Centre Home Care, the main purpose of which is providing advice on caring for the infirm, disabled and seriously ill for relatives, guardian which faced with the problem of their own health or the health of relatives.

The center will engage in developing and disseminating information and teaching materials on the proper care in order to facilitate and improve the work of those who exercise this care. For all of us are known cases occurred in families where unpredictable situations that led to confusion and helplessness, as we suddenly found out. At such moments we wanted to help, support, kindness and professional advice, but we did not know where to turn for help, which can be obtained only in a hospital or clinic. That is why the activity of Information - Consultational  Center helps people to get adequate and timely get assistance at a convenient time for them and at home, which is very important for the elderly.

In addition, center staff will be conducted seminars and training on care, on prevention of various complications of chronic diseases, by conducting home rehabilitation for patients who had ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke, resulting in decreased sensitivity or disappeared (pareses and paralysis) and motor activity of the joints.

Appealed by the Information - Consultation Center, also in need can get a loan in some medical care and equipment (wheelchairs, some devices, so-called walkers, armrests, basic sticks to move around the apartment and on the court, anti mattresses, pneumatic bath to shampoo shut, head restraints for nursing terminally ill, wheelchair toilets, etc.).

For receiving some services of Information - Consultation Center of Caritas there are no  restrictions on age, sex, wealth or social condition of the person-user. Here you can get advice on many aspects of care: health care, organization of life and psychosocial support. If necessary (and the previous record), the worker of a center is able to provide individual advice and counseling on care of the patient at home.

Center is open from Monday to Friday from 14.00 hrs. to 18.00.:

14.00 - 17.00.hrs - Providing consultation assistance on home by prior arrangement and challenge;

17.00-18.00.hod. - Telephone consultations and learning practical skills in the center;

The first, the second, the third Sunday of every month at 13.00. - Holding seminars, training practicing practical nursing skills, which will be organized by our center physician Orischak Diana Tadeyivna (mobile phone.: 067-583-01-87).
