Action Saint Nicholas goes to the orphans " Orphanage, boarding school ... Inside - a magnificent building that are equipped for many young people living together. There are bedrooms, rooms for education and recreation, dining. The rooms - toys, books, notebooks, clothes, the court - swing ... Only my mother every night here is no in a hurry to take her children home because children here are not even around the clock - years. And their parents substitute nurses, educators, teachers.
This is their home and they live in it with all ages. Relatives and friends occasionally give them a visit. Every stranger who comes into this institution, they want to see parents. Sometimes, when the adult heart remains indifferent to the curious eyes of children and supplicant, which is emitted as if the request: "Take me ... No kid in the world, which in anticipation of long-awaited evening would not dream of something special. Is it possible to describe the tremulous joy that a child unfolds beautifully packaged gift? Have you looked at that moment in children's eyes?
CF «Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC» and Maltese Aid Service in conjunction with a traditional annual event help orphans living in orphanages and boarding of Ivano-Frankivsk region. The aim is to prepare campaign gifts to the orphans of St. Nicholas, and ensure their things necessities. Action "Nicholas goes to the orphans" covered 10 child care centers, where more than 1110 children:
During the years 1999-2006 in shares of St. Nicholas goes to the orphans' sponsorship provided nearly 320 organizations and thousands of businesses and individuals. All donors and the media received a detailed report on the use of funds. The total amount of aid collected in previous years is USD 543 298
We would like to thank all those who became St. Nicholas for orphans in previous years, as well as those gentlemen, who continues to help orphanages throughout the year.
