To attract people’s attention from Ivano-Frankivsk to the problem of trading of human organs on the 29 – 30th of November along the roads of Ivano-Frankivsk the rally was organized "For spare parts - just machines!". The initiator of this event in Ivano-Frankivsk region was the Charitable Foundation "Caritas of Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC", which for seven years is working on the realization of programs to prevent human trading. The main support was provided by International Organization of Migration (IOM), with the help of which public organizations from 9 cities of Ukraine united to organize the National rally.

National rally started on the 29th of November in Precarpathian University in honour to Wasyl Stefanyk. A successful combination of information with Youth Theater performance of "ART ACT" attracted the attention of most of the students to the problem of human trading. After the rally the participants organized information meeting for the residents of our city. During a street meeting volunteers and Caritas workers distributed informational materials that gave the opportunity not only to attract the local community to the crime of trading of human organs, but also raise awareness about the dangers of this type of crime.

Information about crimes of the trading of human organs was also delivered to the students of Ivano-Frankivsk Lyceum of Road Transport and construction within two days, HPC number 7 in Kalush, Bogorodchany Professional Building Lyceum, the unemployed who are registered in Yaremche employment center and ordinary residents of that area. In general six informational actions were held, during which it more than 12 thousand people were informed.

In Ivano-Frankivsk region, a rally was held with the support of the Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Mr. Michael Vyshyvanyuk; the partners were the Department of Family, Youth and Sports, Education, Justice, Health of Ivano-Frankivsk Regional State Administration, Ivano-Frankivsk Regional center of Social Services for children and Youth, Department of Family, Youth and Gender Policy of Ivano-Frankivsk city council, Youth Theatre "ART ACT". The executive director of the CF "Caritas of Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC" and also the organizer of the rally Natalya Kozakevych outlines this idea: "The poorer the country of origin of the victim is, the less its people are worried about the issues of dignity and morality. When a person can not earn for her existence, she finds herself in a situation of hopelessness. This person can be easily manipulated. And the representatives of these criminal groups use this situation, they know that the market of human organs is a highly competitive environment, and their illegal transplantation is a very profitable business. Just think: a person, waiting for organ transplants is willing to pay for the operation of transplanting kidneys from 120 to 200 thousand dollars at a time when a donor is paid 10 - 15 thousand dollars. Is it worth paying such money to be disabled to the rest of your life? That is why today we are alarmed to protect the lives and health of each average Ukrainian. People, be attentive! – Do not sell yourself, don’t take a temptation of easy-earning money: money is spent quickly, and you won’t return your health ...»
