The highest science of life - wisdom, and the highest wisdom - to be kind. Just kindness and compassion, sensitivity and empathy, the ability to understand the pain, timely support in difficult times - it should be in the character of every person. During realization of mercy we must be guided by any instructions, rules. Sharing, do not think about the fact of being poorer, but, contrary to, rejoice that the good that you do from the heart, will bring immense joy and warmth will warm the hearts of many young children who need today our help and attention.

For over six years, with support of local sponsors, the parishioners of the Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Caritas helped to prepare properly for 574 school children of vulnerable social categories, particularly: children orphans, children deprived of parental care, disabled children and children who found themselves in difficult circumstances.

In 2010, 96 children became the recipients, including:

• 11 children without parental care;
• 7 children half-orphan;
• 4 children with disabilities;
• 45 children from large families;
• 29 children from poor and crisis families

18 342.91 grn., that were collected during the action «Orphan schoolbag» in August 2010 for the purchase of school supplies and stationery has been spent on completed schoolbag for 52 pupils of the first form for the sum 13  030.54 grn., and provided assistance to 45 students - 2-11 grade students from socially disadvantaged categories on 5 312.37 grn.

The feast of "First schoolbag" joined general manager of cinema "Lumiere" Shkriblyak L.V, 52 pupils of the first form received a gift of free tickets to watch the movie. Holiday completed a sweet table, which was organized by the firm "Grand" Povh Y.N. and CF «Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC».

Many thanks to donors who have made their donations in boxes to raise funds for the action, all those who got concerned and showed concern for children. Let this charity thing will be rewarded by God and become role models to others. Because doing good is never late. "... Let revives old truth: Man begins with the good.
