From 17 May to 14 July 2010 in the framework of the Advisory Centre for social assistance to victims of trafficking have been conducting seminars on "Employment abroad. Do not become a living commodity" with citizens who are registered in regional employment centers.

During the workshops participants were covered issues related to migration processes in Ukraine citizens abroad and their employment.

Social Worker of CF «Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC» Olesia Krychun told the participants of the seminar:

• rules for citizens of Ukraine for travel abroad to avoid the snare traffickers
• employment abroad,
• requirements for firms that offer employment services abroad
• you need to know about the Schengen visa
• how to protect yourself from fraud by brokers in employment abroad.
• organizations abroad, where you can ask for help

The seminar stressed that solving the problem of human trafficking is largely unregulated translation in the plane of legal migration processes. For participants were interested in the topic of employment abroad, individual counseling was provided.

By this time seven workshops were held in Galician, Tysmenytsia, Nadvirnyanskyy, Rohatyn, Kalush, Horodenka regional centers of employment which was covered by 108 citizens who are in search of work.
