For the purpose of educational measures and preventive nature of the risk groups in rural communities in Ivano-Frankivsk region the initiative group of the number of volunteers from Caritas was organized, from future social workers and psychologists. With the initiative group a number of training sessions to provide as much information about labor migration and human trafficking held.

The next step after training was involving priests, that are already familiar with the activities of the Advisory Centre, and human trafficking, and agreement with them about the meetings with communities in the parishes in order to inform about the dangers of illegal employment abroad and human trafficking. These meetings were held on the 6 of June in Tysmenytsia with parishioners of St. Nicholas church with the assistance of Father Volodymyra Hrynyshyna.

At these meetings, people were informed about:

• activity of CF «Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC» and activities of the Advisory Centre of social assistance to victims of trafficking;
• phenomenon of human trafficking, exploitation of views, ways of recruitment;
• advices from legal employment abroad;
• Information about consular protection of citizens of Ukraine, the possibility of assistance to migrants and non-governmental organizations, law enforcement abroad
• information about how you can protect yourself - a citizen of Ukraine abroad;

Also, while holding information - advisory meetings informational letters with more details  about employment abroad, the Schengen visa requirements for firms that employ foreign, as well as how to check them, were distributed. Each interested could apply for individual advice of a social worker of Advisory Centre.
