Under this slogan there was the pilgrimage of the delegation of the CF “Caritas of Ivano-Frankivsk UGCC” to the Holy Robe to the city of Trier (Germany) at the invitation of Caritas Diocese of Trier from the 22nd to 27th of April 2012. Holy Robe, Tunica of Jesus Christ is the most significant relic of Trier Cathedral. Helen, a mother of Roman Emperor Constantine brought him in Trier in the 4th century.
“Pilgrimage of Caritas is unusual, -says the director of Ivano-Frankivsk Caritas father.mitrat Volodymyr Chornij. We came to worship the Christ Heaton and thank God for the great grace of love. In carrying out his mission in the far 90-ies of the last century, missionaries - representatives of the Maltese Diocese and Caritas Trier were not afraid to come to Ukraine, and during the collapse of the totalitarian regime started to create charity. At first themselves, then taught us. Today we thank the Lord for good friends - partners in Trier, who were glad to teach us social service of people. Because each of our previous visits is a great school of love for us, that we tried to realize in ourselves. In each of the existing social programs is a part of your heart”.
